WELCOME TO OUR PRACTICE

We always look forward to meeting new faces! Your pets health is important to us. Our veterinarians like to familiarize themselves with your pets medical history prior to your arrival. We kindly ask that all records be mailed, emailed, or faxed prior to your pets initial appointment. Our staff is discrete and more then happy to call your previous veterinarian on your behalf.  

Scheduling:

Our Belchertown office see's dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, small mammals, reptiles, and birds. Our Ware office sees all the species listed above with an exception to birds. Our Ware office offers evening appointments on Tuesday's until 7:00pm. The evening appointment time slots fill up quickly, we advise scheduling 4-6 weeks out to secure that desired time slot.   

Deposit: 

We ask that all first time clients place a deposit down which is the cost of their pets examination fee to reserve their appointment slot. Unfortunately over the past few years we have run into people not calling or showing up for their appointment. We found this is the best way to ensure those who want their pets to be seen are able to in a timely fashion. In the event that you do not show up for your appointment you forfeit your deposit in whole. 

Same Day Sick Appointment Policy:
We understand that sometimes our pets fall unexpectedly ill. In an effort to take care of our existing clientele, we offer same day sick pet appointments on a first come first serve basis.  Our appointments are in high demand. In the event that you need this service, we encourage you to call promptly at 7:30am to reserve a time slot. If you are not a client, but would like your pet to be seen, you are welcome to call at 8:00am.

Urgent Care: 

Now offering urgent care Monday-Friday at our Belchertown office, and Monday-Thursday at our Ware office. Urgent care appointments are scheduled once our veterinarians schedule has been filled for the day. For this reason we may ask for you to drop your pet off to spend the day with us. Once our case load meets maximum capacity we may refer you to a local veterinary hospital. Please note we do not have overnight care, in the event that your pet requires  24 hour hospitalization and care we will arrange for you to bring them to a 24 hour facility. 

Short-Notice Cancellation/No Show Policy:
As a small, private owned business, with limited appointment availability, no show's/short-notice cancellations hurt. We require a deposit for all first time clients to hold your appointment slot. Your deposit is refundable up until 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time, after that it is non-refundable. Our hospital reserves the right to apply a short-notice cancellation fee for missed appointments and last minute cancellations. 
 
Payment Policy:
Payment is required in full at the conclusion of your appointment. We accept cash, credit/debit card, and Care Credit. We do not accept checks, we do not store cards on file, and we do not offer billing.
