 Client Info

We love seeing our friends and we always look forward to meeting new faces! Your pets health is important to us. Our veterinarians like to familiarize themselves with your pets medical history prior to your arrival. We kindly ask that all records be mailed, emailed, or faxed prior to your pets initial appointment. Our staff is discrete and more then happy to call your previous veterinarian on your behalf.

Scheduling

We’re proud to serve the pets of Belchertown and the surrounding community, caring for both cats and dogs like they’re part of our own family. Our team is here for you Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM (last appointment is at 4:30PM), Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM (last appointment is at 6:30PM).  Making an appointment is easy—just call us at 413-324-1138 .

Deposit

To help us reserve time for the pets who need us most, we kindly ask all first-time clients to place a deposit equal to the cost of their pet’s exam when booking their appointment. Unfortunately, we’ve seen an increase in missed appointments without notice, which limits our ability to care for other patients. This deposit ensures that we can keep our schedule open for pets who truly need care. Please note that deposits will be used to pay for your exam.  They are unfortunately non-refundable if you do not attend your scheduled appointment or provide at least 24 hours cancellation notice.

Same Day Sick Appointment Policy:

We know pets can become ill without warning, and we want to be here when they need us most. To best serve our existing clients, we offer same-day sick pet appointments on a first-come, first-served basis. These appointments are in high demand, so we encourage current clients to call us promptly at 7:30 a.m. to reserve a time. New clients are welcome to call starting at 8:00 a.m. Please note that same-day sick appointments cannot be booked online—give us a call so we can make sure your pet is seen as quickly as possible.

Urgent Care:

We  offer urgent care and emergency appointments to our clients on a case by case basis Monday through Friday. For emergency cases, we may stabilize your pet  before referring you to local emergency facilities. In some cases, we may ask you to drop your pet off so our team can care for them throughout the day as our schedule allows. If our urgent care case load reaches maximum capacity, we may refer you to a nearby veterinary hospital to ensure your pet is seen promptly. Please note that we do not provide overnight care. If your pet requires 24-hour monitoring or hospitalization, we will help arrange transfer to a 24-hour facility.

No Show Policy:

As a small, privately owned practice with limited appointment availability, missed or last-minute cancellations significantly impact our ability to care for other pets in need. To help prevent this, we require a deposit from all first-time clients to reserve an appointment. Deposits are fully refundable if the appointment is canceled at least 24 hours in advance; after that, they become non-refundable. Please note that our hospital reserves the right to apply a short-notice cancellation fee for missed appointments, late cancellations, or no-shows. Pre-payment for future appointments may also be requested.

Payment Policy:

Payment is due in full at the conclusion of your appointment. We accept cash, all major credit/debit cards, and CareCredit. Please note that we do not accept checks, do not store cards on file, and are unable to offer billing.
